Merry Meet, in 2004, i became a Pagan, and that lead me to Witch Craft, it was only after telling my Aunt that i was a Witch, did i find out, my Great Grandmother,(my dad's side) was a Witch from Italy, then i found out that my Great GrandFather (mom's side), was a Card reader, in Germany, my Aunt told me, that she and my other Aunt, were waiting to see which one of us, (grand kids) would"walk between worlds", thats what my Great Grandmother called, being a witch, it turned out to be me, My Aunt said she always felt it would be me, because, i have the "occult" on both sides of me, and i could feel, my GrandFather at my cousin's grave side, my GrandFather had died, 11mts ,2 wks and 3 days , before my cousin Ronnie, i was 8, and i told my Aunt Betty that i almost see him, i guess i had to grow into it, i dont know, looking back over mylife, i can pick up on little things that i did, or felt, and now i know them to be part of being a Pagan and a Witch,..... so i dont think it was me "wanting" to be Pagan, as much as it was me, being Pagan and not knowing it, Bless Be Morg

Oh my, let's see I was 10 when I first met witches and decided I had an interest. My dad's girlfriend was a witch and my mom and stepdad use to set up their jewelry stand right next to Laurie Cabot's back in the day at the Pickering Wharf in Salem, MA. I use to play with Penny Cabot on the days we were both there, but that was forever ago now ;)

So that's how my journey began...and now 30+ years later here I am!

Well lets see... I was 15 and it was the summer of 1992. My best friend Duane and I being the local mall rats ended up hanging round the book store and eventualy we stumbled across "Big Blue". We each bought a copy and went through it together lesson by lesson. In time we decided this was for us and as it happens also in time people tend to discover your different. We managed it ok and if anything it made us more determined to seek out further knowledge. It was quite interesting going to a Christian high school but being a witch. Sort of like the movie the craft only we were guys not girls lol. Well it has been over 16 years now and we are both walking pagan paths. He now lives in Florida where he preserves the beaches. I myself left NY and moved to California buuuut that is another story entirely.

It was in the early 1970's. I was 16-17. Im now 54. Ive been on this path ever since. Its been a long and strange journey, but I dont regret a second of it. And I agree with Morganna. It was more always being Pagan, just didnt know it.

In my heart and soul, I believe that I have always been pagan but until about 9 years ago, I didn't know what to really call it. I use to play out in the woods around where I grew up and never came to harm from any 'dangerous' animal, which, thinking about it now, makes me feel like someone was watching over me. That's my two cents...

Looking back I think I was always pagan but didn't know it. I was raised Catholic but there was always something missing in my spiritual life. 6 years ago I was talking to someone on line about their being pagan and it's like a light bulb came on. That is what I had been missing in my spirit life. I saw then that the Goddess needed to be part of my life in order for me to be whole. And I am. I am 52 now.

MM I was 7 years old, talking to the Goddess in my backyard. Alot of years have gone by believe me but I remember that clearly. It took me untill Iwas in my 20's to put a name to what I knew and what I had been doing all those years. So that was 1952 when I was 7 years old. Blessed Be

I was around 36 years old when I became interested. I only went to church for the normal things like births, deaths and marriages and after meeting my wife I found that becoming a pagan gave me a stable mind.

I was a Christian I thought when I was doing spiritual practices and read a book by a psychologist named Jess Lair... He liked Swami Muktananda. Up to that point I would never have considered another religion, but since Jess liked Muktananda, I figured he was legit. Coincidentally, while reading this book, someone invited me to go to a satsang (meeting) in Boston Mass at the Ashram. There, I viewed a video of the new Guru Swami Chidvilasananda who is called Gurumayi. She is a woman my age. I am now 53, but that was in about 85, so I was about 30. The next day, instead of the alarm waking me up, Gurumayi appeared to me in a dream and woke me up and told me to 'go to work'. I went to my job and everyone told me I had changed. Thats how I got started in Yoga and Kashmir Shaivism. About a week later, I meditated with the awareness that I was God using the mantra Om Namah Shivaya and had an ignition in the heart. That was my Kundalini Awakening or Shaktipat. I am still integrating that.

I know this perhaps sounds a bit odd but I do not remember "becoming" a Pagan, more that I was born into it in a sense. I have always had the freedom and knowledge given to me to be what I am. ... I have always been able to "see" between the worlds and beyond the veils, to feel other's pain and sometime to heal. In truth, the active answer to your question is that I have been focused and practicing for the better part of 40 years. Blessings my friends. Pendragon Woman

When I was about 15 0r 16 yrs old. there was an invisible force that kept yanking on my shirt sleeve the same way a child does when they are trying to get their mothers attention. Ifound myself getting involved with reading and practicing astral projection and the tarot cards. Then, I became interested in witchcraft . at the time , all the books on the market were written from a christian view point and everything was about the devil. I walked away from it until 1990 when I met up with some dark witches who lived in my immediate area. Again, an invisible force started pushing me back towards witchcraft. This time I came across a guy named SCOTT CUNNINGHAM and then RAYMOND BUCKLAND. I got introduced to WICCA. Six months after Igot started as a solitary, my daughter introduced me to a friend of hers who was a pagan and her parents were pagans who helped us start a class that 18 months later became a coven. I got initiated May 16, 1995 The rest is history.
