Voices, screams, thuds in the dead of night that are only audible to one person are the types of things that happen to people on a daily basis. Suddenly the person finds themselves frightened to live in their home or venture out into the world when the need arises. Psychics use their clairaudient abilities to find out whom or what makes these unnatural sounds audible to those who are alive. Some psychics or mediums will stake out the house or area in order to see if they can communicate with the makers of the sounds and find if they can convince that person or group to move on and leave people to live in peace. When a spirit makes contact, psychics believe it is their way of asking for help. It is believed that spirits do not know that they are dead and that they have unfinished business. A psychic with clairaudient abilities is believed to be able to help that spirit pass on.

Being clairaudient can have positive and negative effects on people. The major role that this psychic power contains is the ability to hear and speak to those who have passed on that were very important to someone’s life. The ability can help understand why people fear spirits and why children seem to be more open to being clairaudient because they seem to be able to hear sounds more clearly than adults. People who develop their clairaudient abilities will testify that hearing these voices and sounds are perfectly natural. However, to people who are just beginning to hear these voices believe themselves to be insane and commit themselves before they have the chance to learn that it is completely natural. Most clairaudient psychics will say that, for the most part, having their ability is a positive force on their life.

Does the fact that some people hear voices, screams, thuds in the dead of night that are only audible to them, mean that they are clairaudient also, and need to develop their gift, or that they are just tapped into that energy and need to bring in a clairaudient person to explain their experience? Also, Is Clairaudience a form of empathy?

I admit I'm one of those who hears sounds, all types of voices, have all types of visions, and all types of dreams that comes into all catagories. It gets very overwhelming and very disturbing allot of times that I always have to deal with. Psychics who are truely connected in this type of energies can go through so many questions of what type catagory they should be dealing with and yes they should always seek advice from someone who went thru it all.
I say yes Empathy & Clairaudience have a connection into play. Sometimes there will be people who can pick up on certain energy that can be of most likely possibility, but at times there will be events or people who can change what ultimately happens to the person at any given time. Choices can change events around as well, its knowing when and what those choices are. As everything has a type of cause and reaction,and an effect, for you always have a Choice to avoid or accept.

Great post Mass. I am an empath and I also hear voices and sounds in the late night. In my former home there was a voice that used to scream, "Hey" in my ear just as I was falling asleep. It startled me awake and I would listen for other sounds but there was never anything else. This happened countless times in the 29 years I lived there. Now tht I am no longer there it has stopped. I also felt tremmers in the earth there. I would say tht the house and large yard had a certain amount of psychic energy. For the most part I liked and worked with it. As far as this voive thats all I ever got from it. I also would say that empachy and clairaudience are connected.

Mother Jones once said,"pray for the dead and fight like hell for the living." I am a sensitive that has wrestled vehemently with unknown universal forces energies and entities. Delving deep into metaphysical philosophy and theosophy to attempt an objective theory over subjective phenomena just raises more misunderstanding. Learning to acknowledge the subjective things we experience as part of the network of the spiritual realm is a start.

Sometimes the paths of the living will be attuned to the paths of those who went before us. Depending on the circumstance, I have asked the bardos to assist the departed to find the light.

I was taught to exercise the will during the dream state. This brings the dreamer to a higher vibrational level. Just knowing this can help a bad dream steer to a more comfortable level.

I have a campsite that has some stones set into a path with a certain elliptical pattern that you can dance on, or massage your foot. Four years of this and someone told me a bit of someones ashes were put in the area. I was able to zero in at the space and thought how wonderful this asshole felt, being buried below those who dance and play on his grave!
