HATE

Ever since the (You Lie!) hate shout on Obamas speech on health care reform I started to wonder how many haters there are in this word or yet again how much hate is there in this world?

I started to think how many categories are there on the word Hate. This is what I found in the dictionary:
loathe, execrate; despise. Hate, abhor, detest, abominate imply feeling intense dislike or aversion toward something. Hate, the simple and general word, suggests passionate dislike and a feeling of enmity: to hate autocracy. Abhor expresses a deep-rooted horror and a sense of repugnance or complete rejection: to abhor cruelty; Nature abhors a vacuum. Detest implies intense, even vehement, dislike and antipathy, besides a sense of disdain: to detest a combination of ignorance and arrogance. Abominate expresses a strong feeling of disgust and repulsion toward something thought of as unworthy, unlucky, or the like: to abominate treachery.

Here’s on the urban Dictionary word of Hater’z :

A new word invented by various hip hop/garage artists to mean those who are jealous of success. Or just people who have had enough of the violence which surrounds the whole scene, and have no respect for a music genre that is made up of murderers, drug dealers and adulterers that glamorize the aforesaid activities.

After reading these two categories and thinking clearly about it, I started to wonder are we born to hate? I look at children playing and one child gets upset because the other child wants the toy he or she is playing with. Then he/she goes and tries to take that toy but then it becomes a wrestle match and they both start to scream bloody murder, which I do laugh about it at that time it’s happening but is that a form of Hate? Hmm’

Did Kanye West showed racist hatred towards Taylor Swift at the music awards? Maybe he grew up with hate we never truly understood until now and maybe his apology is full of crap to just save his ass from losing all his fan’s.

People tend to hate there neighbor’s for many stupid reasons, like:

Because your children are more beautiful then theirs or because their ugly
Because you make more money then them
Because you don’t cut your lawn correctly or not at all most of the times
Because you don’t join the PTA meetings
Because you smell funny
Because your not the ideal person or race they’d like to see everyday
This one can go on and on when it comes to having neighbor’s and being a hater

In schools kids show their hate towards each other and the bulling can get to the point of mentally effecting that kid for the rest of his/her life. Also many people show their hatred towards animals, torturing them to the point of almost killing them or killing them all because they have that much hate inside their thought’s.

My question to everyone who is reading this is why do we Hate even tho we may say we don’t Hate , but for some reason we do show Hate on way or another ?

Also feel free to write your comments about the hate you had or have, and the story of the hate you have personally seen in your life.

Blessings & light

Merry Meet Consuelo,

Why do people hate?......I think it is because human beings are animals, but our brain capacity renders us to motivate to extreme's. We seem to be the only animals that hate enough to kill one another for reasons other than direct physical threat to our lives or the lives of those we love.

Research has shown that a highly developed part of our brain called the amygdala plays a major role in violent rage and hate. The amygdala in humans is part of our highly complex limbic system (part of our nervous system), this system is key in human emotions and automatic responses because the amygdala is linked to the hypothalamus and pituitary gland. Interestingly, our amygdala is also linked to the area in our speech center that controls obscenities. This link is also the reason that hateful rage often includes extensive use of obscenities.

We hate because we feel at the deepest levels of our psyche, that we are being threatened, either as a singular entity or as a group. Humans are complete and logical, we tend to go overboard on our actions to eliminate a threat. Usually the threat is socially self- induced.

Hate thrives when we lose the ability to bend others to our will , our beliefs or in some instances an out of reach competitive level. We have an innate tendency, called the binary instinct, to divide the world into us and them.

One important way we can work against hate is to create nonjudgmental safe environments for children who so easily absorb and incorporate into their meaning systems the environment around them. If they are raised in an environment full of violence, abuse and stress, some children are more likely to develop into adults who are quick to overreact, to perceived threats with fear, anger, hatred and violence.

Belief systems that are narrow and rigid are too easily threatened and those with such belief systems are more open to hate. It does matter, not only," what we believe"," but how we believe". Those of us who are open and flexible in our beliefs are less likely to feel our belief systems are threatened and so are less open to hate....BB....MASS

MM Mass thanks for your comment. It made me think allot about Rage. You know the men in my family suffers blackouts and rage, and i wondered if maybe one day with enough research in the future they can find a solution to this problem.

I deeply feel rasing your children in a safe clear enviroment for them to get a chance to grow up without so much bad influences should be the best way to go. I know many kids are very independent but at least they can get that chance to see things differently. Nothing is easy.

Thankyou mass it made me think allot

Blessings & Light
