SEPTEMBER DAY

On that September day, many years ago,
We lost many loved ones, history will show,
Our world stopped turning, and time stood still,
“Thank You” to our hero’s and their iron will.

Their strength of spirit will continually endure,
As our love for them remains forever pure,
Their memories and spirit we are still caressing,
Their sacrifice was for us, their memory, our blessing.

They gave there lives in an honorable concern,
For our loved ones , our heart’s will continually yearn,
They opened their hearts and we saw their best,
We have dried our tears as we put them to rest.

We honor and love you more than anyone can say,
We will never forget that devastating day,
On this September day our world is blue,
We are here in your honor, Goodbye and Thank You.

Dedicated to those that lost their lives in that attack, and also to their families, loved ones, friends, and co-workers. It is also dedicated to those men and women who are Police Officers, Firefighters, EMS, and Search and Rescue personnel. They are ALL true heroes in my book!!
