A place to meet and greet enlightened souls

I feel sad today about certain religions like " Christianity" I remember a long time ago when I was like 13 or 14 I learned a story about this christian leader called Jim Jones who created a Christain Peoples Temple

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Jones

http://www.rickross.com/groups/jonestown.html

This is a true story that went so wrong and the massecre that had been created through the faiths of these peoples. I was horrified by it all and to hear the recording of children screaming of their deaths from poisoning is so so heart breaking. I cried so much wondering if this maddness would ever end. I know for a fact that many christian religions would have ever known this story or would they enter this story as a learning process for members to understand what can happen if you go too far with your messeges to be heard. I feel deeply that the christian religion should be held accountable for what happens with their followers and of their leaders who lead.

Just like every group that forms and every occult out there , it should be investigated as an important thing to do. There should be guidlines in how far things should be allowed within that religion and it's practices.

I would love to tell you more But I'll just start to cry an never finish this post right.

What do you think about this tragedy?

It was a cult inwhich people were led to the slaughter or killed if trying to leave the property.
I did a report on Jim Jones, he was a drug addict. He also would place 6 inch penny nails in the bunk about his in college.
He was a warped man.
I do not consider him a christian at all but a sociopath.
In the 70's and 80's there were a number of these cults. Do you recall the brainwashing and the intervention from family members.
This could still happen today in any organization.
I pray that the Goddess opened her arms to all that were there and assisted them to their next journey.

WOW thankyou for sharing what you know with me Phoenix. I do believe as'well that these cults exist today and also I in the past have fought the brainwashing effect. That is very sweet you always wondered about those poor victims spiritual journey and we should wonder why Jim Jones did what he did. And also he was a very superstitious man. For many year's I have wondered if he did these sacrifices for reasons more then just saving his ass, and also someone who was there to witness this event murdered him so that they can save their ass. I felt it was all a plan, like many things are always planed out.

I have posted one time about The Jesus Camp , about how this evangelism groups planning to create a war against the so call devil and that even the Pagans and Wiccans or anyone with a spiritual path thats not considered christian would be effected by this war they are intending to create . I feel a very big problem is being created and people should be aware just incase it might be true. It was true in the past and these christians who are creating this chaos for the name of their insanity should be investigated. The christian religion to me personaly is a very mentaly dangerous to people because this religion has created many monsters who had become dillusional and kill for the name of their God and also they become conditioned to believe monsteruosly from the time they are born. I don't believe in the so call bible and i don't believe in the christian religions. To me they are always planning to get rid of the evil in this world and to me the evil is everyone but them, because they are always fighting against the devil and his legions of workers which is everyone who are not christians.

Thankyou for your comment Phoenix Heart
