What do most pagans want the world to know about them?

We all know there are many misconceptions about Pagans in society and are generally defined as those who worship false gods. Most of society "see's" Pagans as "Satanic" in the sense of "rebelling against" a Biblical God. To them, if your ethics are based on anything other than subservience to a Biblical God and even if you're a thoroughly nice person the more doctrinaire Monotheist conservatives are not too favorably impressed by the "Wiccan Rede".

So, all the "we're not Satanists" disclaimers in the world will not stop most from perceiving you as being in league with Satan. The theology of most conservative Christian churches requires them to see you that way. To convince these people to become more tolerant, it is necessary to find out what they fear, to address these fears of religious diversity. It will also be necessary to debunk plenty of other urban legends besides just those pertaining to "Satanism."

My question is ...What do most pagans want the world to know about them?...Hopefully we can present these profound statements to the masses...BB...MASS

Like them we beleive in love, death, and a place you go to when you pass over. For them its heaven and for us its Summerland. We are just just like them in alot of ways . Only our beleif system and spiritual values are different. We preferr to embrace love and light rather than fear it. We exercise our free will to not be controlled by a religious doctrine but rather make up our own minds to follow a path that is right for each of us as an individual. We embrace the earth , the elements and all of the creatures that are here and respect our planet and the divine who created it.
We pay the piper for our wrong doings through karma rather than have a "Savior" take the punishment for us. We are one with the universe.

I want people to know that we pagans are not that different from anyone else, save our spiritual leanings. We will tolerate and respect your path as long as you have respect for ours. That being said, I try to treat everyone like they are divine and important unless of course, they do or say something that puts them on my shit list.
