THE WORLD OF TAROT CARD'S

Anyone can read Tarot cards because we all have access to the divine. It doesn’t matter whether you call it the absolute, God or spirit; it’s all the same. I wanted to create this group for everyone to share their gift and those who want to learn.

I wanted to create this group for those who want to share their experiences and share there techniques of spreads and also for those who wanted to learn about Tarot reading and the benefit's it can bring to them, or if you just want to browse abit you can do that also. From time to time I will be putting different discussions here about Tarot card's . I hope many of yous share your stories and experiences , and what you gained out of it. I use The Rohrig Deck. Since I'm an artist the deck called out to me and I understood it very well. There are many tarot deck's out there and it takes some looking into to find the one that's right for you. The one I understand that many people start with is The Rider Waiter's deck is the most popular Tarot deck. The images were drawn by an artist name Pamela Colman Smith and pretty easy to read.

There are 22 cards in the Major Arcana, each showing some aspect of the human experience. The cards of the Major Arcana are focused on three themes: the realm of the material world, the realm of the intuitive mind, and the realm of change. In A Complete Guide to the Tarot, Eden Gray points out that the the different events and emotions and experiences we have are reflected in the cards as laid down by a reader. Ultimately the Fool is at the center of it all, an innocent about to embark on a journey which will include many trials and tribulations. Depending on which deck you're using, you may find that your cards are not in the order presented. Don't worry about that -- go by the meaning of the card, not by the numeric order. The illustrations on these pages depict cards from the Rider Waite deck, which is one of the most popular Tarot decks available today, and one typically used by new readers as a way to "get to know" Tarot.

Dear lady Bleu when you start to understand your cards those cards just gives you its own meaning but you always remember are the true reader of those cards. Many times readers mix their own psychic feelings inside those cards, mixing the unifications of you and those cards is what makes the reading even more unique. Without you those cards means nothing, remember that.

Consuelo, is it common when doing a reading for the book meaning to be different than what you think it should be or not exactly like it says? I have had this happen a few times now and thought ok the first time I could understand cause I'm just learning but then I begin to wonder. I have been writing my interpretation down then looking it up with what came with the cards and one card or two will be completely different. Not opposite just different. Was just wondering if it was me and I keep doing what I'm doing.
Thanks for your help.

A week ago a Deck of Tarot Cards called to me in a bookstore where I went to pick up a book I ordered. Its a Dragon Deck. I have always been drawn to dragons and their history. This deck was third in a stack of cards and I was going to walk away from them when I went back and started looking through the stack. That deck was mine I knew it. Since then I have been picking it up and just looking at the pictures for a while and then putting it away again. This deck makes me feel complete. Now for the learning.
