To all you Pagan, Army ,Navy, Air Force, and MARINES, you are not forgotten, i was talking to member of our site, (you know who you are), and you made me think about alot, you see My cousin Lcpl Ronald Gockland, was an Active Duty Marine, who was killed by a drunk driver, 18 dec 1976, he was 18, and i was 8, Ronnie was home on leave, and picked up a part time job, pumping gas, so he could buy christmas gifts, my cousin never saw the car that hit him, he died in gutter, one block from where he went to high school, and 3 blocks from home, they laid him to rest, in his Dress Blues, on Christmas Eve, i will never forget that day, i remember it like yesturday, he is the reason,i became an EMT/CCT, so no one would every have to die like he, did alone in a gutter, he also the reason im so hell bent not letting anyone forget our TROOPS, i have Marines,and Army ,and Navy Guys, i talk to all the time, some are now state side, and i have met a few ,and we hang out sometimes, i ware my red Marine shirt every friday, till they come home i will do that, my cousin has been gone 32 years, and not a day goes by, i dont think about him, i remember his face, his smile, his laugh, how handsome he was in his Dress Blues, he was a Hell of Marine, i even miss him calling the "baby", im the youngest of the grandkids, he was the oldest,( he would have been 50 this year), but time stopped for him, he will always be 18 and full of pride, and he will never be forgotten, just the rest of our men, and women, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN, as long as there is breath in my lungs, and fire in my heart, you will always be in a place of HONOR, may the Gods keep safe, Ronnie, I LOVE YOU,
